Billy and the Kids
Billy and the Kids, a Grateful Dead cover band, will be performing at the Pier Six Pavilion in Baltimore on Wednesday, August 16th, 2023. The show will start at 8:00 pm and tickets are available now.
Billy and the Kids formed in 2014 and have been touring ever since. The band is made up of Billy Kreutzmann on drums, Tom Hamilton on guitar, Aron Magner on keyboards, and Reed Mathis on bass. They are joined by Jeff Chimenti on keyboards and vocals and Jay Lane on percussion.
The band has been praised for their Dead-like jams and their ability to recreate the Grateful Dead’s sound. They frequently play two-set shows and often include a Grateful Dead song in their encore.
This will be the band’s first performance in Baltimore. Fans can expect to hear classics like “Sugaree,” “Bertha,” and “Scarlet Begonias.” Billy and the Kids are sure to put on a great show and Deadheads will not want to miss it.
